The netCCM GmbH is a spin-off of the department of computer science of the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and was founded in May 2006 at the Science and Technology Park Adlershof (WISTA). The foundation was prepared with more than four years of intensive research and development work at which several patents were filed. A research work on which netCCM is based was awarded the Werner von Siemens Excellence Award in 2006.
In the centre of activity of the netCCM GmbH are innovative tools and technologies for the efficient production of flexibly adjustable high quality software. Mainly, we access results of the latest research of the chair for system analysis of the Humboldt-Universität, that led to the development of the Unified Component Model. This new component model has two crucial advantages:
Based on this component model netCCM provides tools to use extensive software engineering know-how as an easily applicable product. In the course of this, the netCCM tools are minimally invasive, i.e. neither a change of well-rehearsed development processes nor a replacement of existing development tools is necessary. The netCCM technology behaves more like a plug-in that is integrated into the existing process and immediately leads to a higher degree of automation.
So all developers of software belong to the target group of netCCM. The spectrum of users range from producers of industry solutions over providers of web-based services to developers of embedded systems.
